Windows Phone 7 was launched at the end of last year to much critical acclaim but has so far not caused much of an impact in the phone industry. It currently only enjoys about 5% of the total smartphone OS market and there have only been a handful of Windows Phone 7 devices released by HTC and Samsung. Of course, this is all likely to change with Nokia’s plans to dedicate their phone industry almost entirely to Windows Phone 7 as they are a company that still enjoys the largest market share and also a great deal of brand loyalty.
