Finally here is a Color Code for RJ45 Lan Cable alias Crossed Cables which are used to connect PCs to one other PC or to connect a HUB to a HUB. Crossed cables are known as Crossover, Patch or Jumper Cables. If you want to use the cable to connect PC to HUB you must used Straight Cable Connection. 1. Click on “Start” in the bottom left hand corner of screen
2. Click on “Run“
3. Type in “command” and hit ok
You should now be at an MS DOS prompt screen.
4. Type “ipconfig /release” just like that, and hit “enter“
5. Type “exit” and leave the prompt
6. Right-click on “Network Places” or “My Network Places” on your desktop.
7. Click on “properties“
You should now be on a screen with something titled “Local Area Connection“, or something close to that, and, if you have a network hooked up, all of your other networks.
8. Right click on “Local Area Connection” and click “properties“
9. Double-click on the “Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)” from the list under
the “General” tab
10. Click on “Use the following IP address” under the “General” tab
11. Create an IP address (It doesn’t matter what it is. I just type 1 and 2
until i fill the area up).
12. Press “Tab” and it should automatically fill in the “Subnet Mask” section with default numbers.
13. Hit the “Ok” button here
14. Hit the “Ok” button again
You should now be back to the “Local Area Connection” screen.
15. Right-click back on “Local Area Connection” and go to properties again.
16. Go back to the “TCP/IP” settings
17. This time, select “Obtain an IP address automatically“

19. Hit “Ok” again
20. You now have a new IP address
With a little practice, you can easily get this process down to 15 seconds.
Note: This only changes your dynamic IP address, not your ISP/IP address. If you plan on hacking a website with this trick be extremely careful, because if they try a little, they can trace it back

One of our friend, Deepkiran wanted a tool to keep track of his Internet Usage. Many broadband Internet users have monthly data transfer limit so such tools help them not to get over-billed at the end of month.
After lots of search and testing , we found Net Meter to work best for all kind of users. Not to mention separately its free and no registration is needed. Just download it and install.We can use it for any ISP service providers internet service.And its user friendly also.
For the first time after downloading you need to setup few thing like your data-transfer limit, notification settings, and many more etc. Actually it has too many options to confuse a home user but its really worth using. Still for your help I will show minimum important setting you need to configure before using Net Meter.
This is only thing you need to do to get started. On starting, Net Meter sits in system-tray. To see Net Meter options as shown below, right-click on Net Meter icon in system tray select options from context-menu. Then go to Notifications tab.
Only things you need to change are reach(es) and during current fields. Both highlighted in screenshot below. Its better to set limits less than actual limits so that you can get notified before crossing data transfer limits! with the help of this software you can get notifications easily this nothing but free and handy tool for internet users alias internet freeks..
From same Net Meter context menu mentioned above select Totals option. You will see following details. And one thing you can see all your usages in same window..

1. Open Flashget and select options > Proxy.
2. Click Add and give your proxy a name relevant to what you use it for.
3. Select HTTP
4. Enter the proxy address and port number.
5. Select OK
6. When clicking on a link or copying a link into Flashget when the
“Add new Download” prompt appears you must select the Advanced tab
then from the proxy section select “HTTP” and select
the name of the proxy you wish.
7. Once done select OK and that is it.

Gmail stores the IP ID of the user every time your gmail account is logged in.
Click on details to see when and which IP address are accessing your gmail account.Also u can also deactivate any login. If there are multiple logins in the same time.
So if you suspect someone using your account. Now you can have the proof so that you can identify through IP .

To restrict a users logon hours , use the net user command. These commands are used from the Command Prompt. (Start – RUN – and type cmd)
Below are some examples:
1 – net user Joanna /time:M-F,08:00-17:00
2 – net user Ninja /time:M-F,8am-5pm
3 – net user Echelon /time:M,4am-5pm;T,1pm-3pm;W-F,8:00-17:00
4 – net user Shine /time:all (this one means this user can always log on)
Note:You can only restrict when a user can log on to the system. On a stand alone computer, there is no way to force a user to log off when their hours expire, without a third party script or software.

First, u need to goto Start, then run. Type in regedit in the box. Next, goto the folder HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\VxD\MSTCP Now, find the string DefaultRcvWindow . Now, edit the number to 64240 then restart your computer. There you go. High speed cable modem now with out loading a program. Original value is 373360
