At the very beginning only one password is sufficient but that password was also hacked by hacker so to prevent this banks use 2 -3 passwords. First one is account password and second one is traction password. Those passwords are only known to user. But user might get tens because of hacking so due to this the Concept of “ Internet Security ” is born.
You have seen many times that website address is stating from http. Http means hypertext transfer protocol. All website use this protocol but for other work which has to be more secured then “Https” protocol is used because this protocol is more secured than http. Https means hypertext transfer protocol secured.
Many time specially banking website or other Ecommerce website use https because of traction of money and other value able information are there. - ONE TIME PASSWORD:
The concept of ONE TIME PASSWORD is when you are doing some money related traction then immediately you got one SMS in which there is one password. This password is useful only for one traction and this password will expired after 2 hours the benefit of using this technique is we are getting alerts every time so if some other is using our account then we can informed to bank and we can took an appropriate action. The most important thing is that because of ONE Time password, the backer can’t complete the transaction process so account is secured.
- CAPTCHA
Another technique of internet security is CAPTCHA. You’ve probably seen them colorful images with distorted text at the bottom of Web registration forms. CAPTCHAs are used by many websites to prevent abuse from “bots,” or automated programs usually written to generate spam. The purpose of this technique is to prevent some software that will be used for hacking purpose. CAPTHA don’t allow interring into your account so this will help to prevent hackers.
