The High Court on 13th told that there are enough evidence in the form of material to proceed against 21 social networking site including Facebook, Google,Yahoo and Microsoft they are found guilty for finding the way to promote unwanted content, religious matter, personal threat etc this resulted in enmity between classes, causing prejudice to our national integration.
The concerned sanctioning authority has personally verified all the records and materials which were produced and after examining the same. the authority is satisfied and come with outputthat there is sufficient material to proceed against the accused person under the related IPC section.
And later on December 23 [ MEA ] Ministry of External Affairs got a report which was directed by court got a two page report by the authority with superior command served on over 10 International based companies they were issued on December 23 last but they remained unserved.
On the same day court issued strict instructions via notice to all 21 social networking site with charges of committing offences of criminal conspiracy, sale of obscene and sale of obscene objects to young persons.
So court as instructed to all the social networking sites including google to remove all the fake content which includes national threat, anti religious and anti politics or private content.
According to the complainant, the alleged contents on these main 21 social networking sites were obscene and might lead to “creation of obscene books, pamphlets, papers which can easily be downloaded from these social networking websites affecting the minds of children and were harmful for social harmony and may lead to increase in crime against women also”.
