How to View hidden files using DOS Command


Microsoft DOS is a DISC Operating System its a older version of OS but still used for some instinct it is better to study DOS  because it helps us to learn computer system in one way or the other for ex: if we want to test broadband line is on we have to ping for that we go to DOS and type ping 192.168.1.1. Now our topic is to view hidden files using DOS command to view hidden files follow the below steps.

Steps to view hidden files in DOS PROMPT :

  • at command prompt just type dir /ah
  • if the list is too long u can use dir /ah/p/w
[smartads]

To go to Command Prompt :

  • Click on START Menu.
  • Click on RUN
  • in RUN Menu type CMD or COMMAND
  • Click on OK
