Personas are the light-weight themes for Mozilla Firefox. Mozilla provides you with a wide range of persona’s. Personas are easy-to-use themes that let you personalize the look of your Firefox. You can select a personas and apply it to your browser based on your interest. Persona’s are easy to add, remove and change. They replace the default theme on Firefox with a much better background. It improves the visual appearance of your browser and makes browsing much user friendly.
Personas is a collection of theme which is extension to the Mozilla FireFox browser that adds custom and personalized themes to the browser.
In Mozilla Firefox there are two main types of Personas, Standard Personas and Dynamic Personas.
- Standard Personas: It consist of two image files, a header image that is displayed as the background at the top of the browser window behind the toolbars and tabs, and a footer image that is displayed as the background at the bottom of the browser window where the status bar is located. That’s why it simple and standard one.
- Dynamic Personas : These are also composed of two files like standard one, a header and footer. However, they can be of any file format that Firefox can display, including JavaScript and HTML. These Personas can be changed and Firefox will periodically update the content simultaneously. In Dynamic Personas we can create our own theme as we want.
