Google Search History : How to permanently delete Google search history

Google Search History is a  list of similar keyword contents are displayed but its not saved by Google, but are actually saved by your web browser through a feature called “Auto Complete”.  As you may noticed that when you type a keyword into Google Search Box a list of similar keyword contents are displayed.

Auto Complete is used by most of the Web browsers like Internet Explorer,Firefox,Google Chrome to assist users in filling out web forms and performing web searches easily. AutoComplete turned on, the browser keeps track of information that you’ve recently typed such as Web addresses, form data and search queries etc, attempts to anticipate what you are typing and offers possible matches.

With the help of  a technique you can not even clear google search history but you can delete google search history permanently from your system. This option are mainly used by the people who like privacy for safer use.

To Remove Google Search History manually :

  • Go to your particular browser and choose the appropriate options.

Internet Explorer 7:

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. From the Tools menu, select Internet Options
  3. Choose the tab labeled General
  4. Under Browser History, select Delete
  5. Next to Form data, choose Delete forms…
  6. Click Yes

Internet Explorer 6:

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. From the Tools menu, select Internet Options
  3. Choose the tab labeled Content
  4. Under Personal Information, select Autocomplete
  5. Select Clear Forms
  6. Click Yes

MozillaFirefox:

  1. Open Firefox
  2. From the Tools menu, select Options
  3. Choose the tab labeled Privacy
  4. Select Clear now…
  5. Put checkmark next to the box labeled Saved Form and Search History
  6. Click Clear Private Data Now

Google Chrome:

  1. Open Google Chrome
  2. Click the wrench icon in the upper-right corner of the toolbar and select Clear browsing data.
  3. Select Clear Browsing Data
  4. Tick mark on Clear Browsing History
  5. Click the Clear Browsing Data button.
