Nowadays people are very fascinated in shopping, many people purchase lots of stuff like gadget, pc, laptop, cams ,home products ,cars ,dress ,digital equipments and more. But some are still in confused with the Difference between Guarantee and Warranty, today why i am writing this article because last week i went to a Mobile Shop to purchase a blue tooth headphones for my HTC TOUCH VIVA phone suddendly one person came to that store and asking for replacement for a DIGITAL CAMERA  but for that product only warranty can be claimed means only can be repaired but cannot be replaced but still the customer was confused and shouting on shop keeper and saying why you said that there is 1 year warranty. So the shop keeper laughed and tried to explain the Difference Between Warranty and Guarantee.So my dear friends for those who don’t know he Difference Between Warranty and Guarantee . A Guarantee is a document to protect consumer rights. It is a promise by a seller with a buyer for complete replacement of the item/ article or product; usually guarantee is valid for a fixed period of time. It has a legal status, even if we do not pay for or it was offered free of cost by a seller. But while claiming the Guarantee of a product keep the Guarantee Card Safe it may need it to produce while replacing.

Warranty is also a document that protects consumer rights. It is more or less like a insurance policy for that we have to pay certain amount to come into legal contract. So on the basis of this legal bond the company can be taken to court if it does not bound what has been agreed in the warranty document. Warranty covers only repair of the article/products. For this process also please keep Warranty Card safe.

There are many benefits of Warranty and Guarantee :

• Guarantee is more in manufacture , Warranty is more in distribution and reselling parts.

• A Guarantee is always free. While a Warranty attracts charges as the insurance policy.

• The Guarantee is a commitment to make good  product or a service in a fixed period of time. While a Warranty looks after the repairing of a new products within the validity period.

• A Guarantee is a legal contract without any payment. A Warranty received on payment with some amount while on purchasing.

• A Guarantee is an addition to the legal consumer rights. A Warranty does not affect the rights under the consumer act.

• A Warranty has specific time limit, but Guarantee is forever till the specific time limit.
