META Tags is a code which describes about your site in Search Engine means totally whats your site is all about, META Tags is an important matter for SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) it means it will help your site to be optimize and allow your webpages to be indexed more easily. With the help of META Tags search engine can find more information on your website.

There are totally two main META Tags to the head section of the blogspot template one is the about DESCRIPTION (Describing your site) and another one is the KEYWORDS ( its used to find the accurate search of an users) so mine main intention for other users is type KEYWORDS properly .

Here is the step to add meta tags to your blogspot:

• Sign in to your blogger account Go to  Dashboard->click the Layout

• After that Click on EDIT HTML Tab

• Here is the code you have to add

<meta content=’DESCRIPTION HERE’ name=’description’/> [Write a nice Description Name]
<meta content=’KEYWORDS HERE’ name=’keywords’/> [Write the Keywords of your blog]
<meta content=’AUTHOR NAME HERE’ name=’author’/> [Your name]
<meta content=‘INDEX,FOLLOW’ name=‘robots’/>
